Hello, I'm Lauren M.

My love for animals started when I was a child. I started at a pet store when I was 17 years old. I fell in love with learning about nutrition for pets. After a few years I was asked if I wanted to be a dog trainer. I instantly said yes! Our family dogs passed away so I went and picked out my first dog named Marley out of a shelter. We went to work learning about each other. I trained dogs with positive reinforcement for 5 year though college. That is the most rewarding job watching puppies or dogs grow and learn so much. I became the GM of the store and stopped. After 17 years of retail life I was looking for a change. I found an ER veterinary hospital and been there as a receptionist for 5 years. But I always seem to have an itch to learn more and more about pets. So I am currently in school for veterinary tech. I just love pets and caring for them. Currently have a senior dog and a 6 month old puppy. The puppy is learning party tricks and helping me figure out how to groom him.
